 Sunday's game between two of the NFL's top teams was finally put to an end by Patrick Peterson's interception of Josh Allen with 1:12 remaining in overtime. The Minnesota Vikings overcame a 17-point second-half deficit to defeat the Buffalo Bills 33-30.

Two errors by Allen allowed the Vikings to gain the upper hand late in the fourth quarter when the quarterback handled a snap poorly and fumbled in the end zone.

Greg Joseph put the Vikings ahead to stay by hitting a 33-yard field goal with 3:42 left in overtime. The game didn’t end until Allen, facing second and 10 at Minnesota’s 20, forced a pass over the middle intended for Gabe Davis, only to have Peterson intercept it a few yards into the end zone. He ran out and slid to the turf to end the game.

With 3:42 remaining in overtime, Greg Joseph kicked a 33-yard field goal to give the Vikings a lead they would not lose. The game wasn't over until Peterson intercepted a throw intended for Gabe Davis a few yards into the end zone after Allen, facing second and 10 at Minnesota's 20, pushed it over the middle. To stop the game, he dashed outside and slid to the ground.

For the Vikings, who are currently leading the NFC North, Kirk Cousins threw for 357 yards, and Justin Jefferson had a huge game with 10 catches for 193 yards. For the fifth time this season, Minnesota came back to win after falling behind with 2 1/2 minutes or less to go in regulation.
